Step into the role

As a Systems Engineer in MilDef’s Solutions team, you will be a key player in transforming technical concepts into innovative solutions. At Solutions, we build and deliver customized IT systems tailored to customer specifications. We turn their IT visions into reality by providing complete and robust infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate with internal project teams as well as our external customers, systematize architectures, and work with new technologies to improve our system solutions in demanding environments.

Key responsibilities

• Create and realize system architecture on different levels, recommending and implementing technological solutions for internal and external customers.
• Create project development processes, management plans, system descriptions and other necessary documentation.
• Capture requirements, establish baselines.
• Maintain and improve MilDef’s systems engineering framework, supporting continuous innovation.
• Assist internal departments with development of HW and SW, making sure the system works as intended.
• Manage a variety of tasks, from clarifying system requirements to participating in customer meetings and ensuring up-to-date documentation.

What you bring

• Experience as a Systems Engineer with knowledge in requirements management and system lifecycle processes (e.g., INCOSE, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288).
• Education in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with modeling languages like UML is an advantage.
• Strong social skills, creativity, and a business mindset with a focus on innovation.
• Proficiency in both Swedish and English is necessary for this role.
