Step into the role

As a System Engineer OneCIS in MilDef’s Solutions team, you will support in the development, deployment, maintenance, and support of OneCIS deployed systems, our specialized solution for rapid deployment of tactical computer information systems. At Solutions, we build and deliver customized IT systems tailored to customer specifications. We turn their IT visions into reality by providing complete and robust infrastructure solutions. This role involves working with on-premises Windows-based infrastructure, integrating hardware, and ensuring compliance with software and security requirements. You will collaborate closely with customers, system architects, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the that supports MilDef’s development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Deployment of OneCIS based information systems in Helsingborg and at customer sites.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for OneCIS users at customer sites.
• Integration of hardware products (computers, network, sensors, peripherals, etc.).
• Ensure software and security compliance for hardware design.
• Develop solution designs and requirement specifications.
• Create prototypes and concept models.
• Document customizations and solutions for customers.
• Perform testing and verification of products and new OneCIS versions.

What you bring

• Basic understanding of system architecture and technical specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in information technology.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with information security, security documentation, and the deployment and management of Windows-based IT infrastructure.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET/NATO SECRET security clearance.
• Background in defense/military environments is a significant advantage.
• Structured and independent working style with strong analytical skills to break down complex system requirements into manageable units.
• Excellent communication skills to convey requirements and technical specifications to different stakeholders.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
