Step into the role

We are looking for an IT Project Manager who is ready to take ownership and lead complex projects within the full scope of the IT area. You will be a key player representing IT in the organization's most critical projects, ensuring successful delivery from start to finish. This role requires grit, humbleness, a strong drive and the ability to translate strategy into action. You will collaborate closely with the business and coordinate resources to ensure project success. Projects can vary in scope, size and be performed at different sites and countries within the MilDef Group. This is a role for someone who wants to shape the future of IT by incorporating digitalization, AI, and new technology into projects. MilDef Group is on a fast growth journey and the right candidate needs to enjoy high speed, flexibility and to work on structural improvements. 

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT projects from start to finish, focusing on budget, timeline, and results
• Represent IT in company-wide projects with high business impact
• Collaborate with the business and coordinate resources with clear governance
• Act as a bridge between technology and business, with the ability to turn strategy into execution
• Ensure projects are executed according to defined goals and requirements
• Contribute to digitalization and technology integration in IT projects

What you bring

• At least 5 years of experience in project management within IT Operations and Business Applications
• Certification in project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
• Strong drive and persistence with high focus on reaching results
• Experience working closely with both technical and business teams
• Genuine passion for digitalization, AI, and new technology to drive IT forward as a business enabler
• Experience of change management and excels at tailoring communication to diverse audiences to get people on board
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
