Step into the role

As Quality Manager within MilDef, you will play a key role in strengthening operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and customer confidence across our business unit. In an industry where reliability, structure, and risk awareness are critical, you will ensure that our processes, products, and operations meet both internal expectations and demanding international standards.

You will work closely with production, development, suppliers, customers, and Group functions to drive continuous improvements in quality, environment, health, and safety performance. This is a role for someone who combines a structured and analytical mindset with the ability to engage the organization, challenge existing ways of working, and translate requirements into practical and sustainable processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve QHSE processes, procedures, and documentation within MilDef Products.

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AQAP, FAR/DFAR, REACH, and RoHS.

• Plan, lead, and follow up internal, external, and customer audits.

• Conduct risk assessments, compliance reviews, and follow-up of KPIs and environmental metrics.

• Manage customer and supplier quality issues, including investigations, corrective actions, and escalations.

• Support production and development projects with quality assurance and regulatory guidance.

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and operational risk awareness across the organization.

What you bring

• Experience working within Quality, QHSE, Compliance, or Operational Excellence in a regulated industry.

• Strong understanding of quality standards and regulatory frameworks, preferably within defense, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

• Experience leading audits, risk assessments, and improvement initiatives.

• Ability to translate complex requirements into structured and practical ways of working.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across different parts of an organization.
